Marketing/Communications/Seeking Social Media Intern Wanted
Do you like learning and contributing in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment? That Sunday School Girl is looking for a few outstanding interns!
Current undergraduate students or upper highschoolers with interest in News Media, Communications, Digital Marketing or related major are encouraged to apply. Please note that we are unable to sponsor those who need visas to work in the U.S. at this time.
This internship offers an opportunity to obtain amazing experience, test your organizational skills, broaden your network in ways you could never imagine, get exposure to some of the greatest up and coming financial technology and startup companies and entrepreneurs in the country.
#TSSG Social Media and Marketing Intern
Commitment: Interns will join the team in October 2017 for immediate and January 15 for the Spring. The internship duration and hours are negotiable, preferably 4-12 hours per week. Schedule will be determined in collaboration with the assigned supervisor.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience following an editorial style guide.
Eye for selecting (or shooting!) engaging, quality photography.
Proficiency with use and insights of HootSuite, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snap Chat, and YouTube a plus.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, and appropriate file formatting for web and print a plus.
Interest in technology, startups, and entrepreneurship.
Ability and willingness to commit to apx. 4-12 week (flexible).
Ability to work independently, jumping in to complete tasks quickly and effectively. We expect a great attitude, lots of energy and enthusiasm with a desire to learn and to meet new people. We are a fun group of people and we hope you will be, too!
Willingness to tackle any project, large or small.

The #TSSG Social Media and Marketing Intern will have projects in several areas including:
Creating and executing a comprehensive social media plan for Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms, as determined;
Writing blog posts and press releases (1 per week) for the #TSSG website, including identifying topics and conducting research;
Assisting with quarterly email newsletters;
Outreach to media outlets and other interest groups;
Assisting in development of marketing collateral, including brochures and posters;
Working with the Executive Director on projects as needed.
The intern will work closely with and report to the Director.

The #TSSG internship program is designed to provide meaningful hands-on training and experience in the areas of nonprofit management and communications. Our internship offers the practical opportunity to become an integral member of the staff and to work side-by-side with professionals as we promote the #TSSG programs and services to the world.
Specifically, the internship will focus on building TSSG’s social media presence and overall brand awareness. This is a unique opportunity to prove success through the increase of social media interaction and web traffic.
